Who we are?

We are a group of researchers and policy analysts who aspire to use our knowledge to serve the poor and underprivileged groups, especially women, youth, and children.  Land Governance Laboratory, Inc. was founded in 2013 and is a nonprofit organization.

What are our missions?

We study the use of land tools to facilitate open and inclusive decision-making processes for land resource allocation in developing countries and encourage young scholars and practitioners to engage in pro-poor and gender sensitive development programs.

How do we achieve our goals?

1.  Provide policy decisionmakers and practitioners with land policy design and training for

informal settlement upgrading and urban expansion.

2.   Assist development of rapidly urbanizing cities and post-conflict/disaster reconstruction.
3.   Invent new tools and test innovative ideas rigorously.
4.   Reflect on actual practices.
5.   Disseminate lessons through publications and learning-by-doing educational programs.
